finishing needs of production and maintenance
departments.
Dry Filter Dust Collector – With ZERO Dry Filters,
which contain cotton sateen tubes (when the cfm goes up, so
does the quantity of tubes), operators occasionally halt
blasting, stop the exhauster motor, and knock dust inside the
tubes to a tray. The tray sits at the bottom of the
Filter, and must periodically be manually emptied and
disposed by the operator, making the Dry Filter suitable for
applications requiring light to medium blasting.
Reverse-Pulse Dust Collection – ZERO reverse-pulse
cartridge dust collectors gather 99.7% of dust, greatly
reducing the dust quantity emitted versus older methods of
collection. Efficiency is increased, leading to greater
productivity, cleaner media and decreased maintenance. In
this type of collector, the exhauster never touches the dirty
air, extending the equipment life. Air is pulled from
the hopper by the exhauster, moves through the reclaimer and
filter and into the dust collector. Clean air is then
expelled into the room.
CDC Collectors – CDC collectors, with air ranging from
300-900 cfm and a lined, 5-gallon dust drum, are best used
for light or medium-duty use cabinets. CDC collectors
are ideal when dust could contain hazardous or unknown
materials with optional bag-in or bag-out cartridge
changes. They come standard with a manual reverse-pulse
cartridge cleaning switch, and the option of an exhauster to
convert push-through cabinets using a dust bag or filters
with the exhauster attached to the reclaimer.
RPC Collectors – RPC collectors, with air ranging from
600-900 cfm, are best used for applications of medium-high
production and/or those with height restrictions. The
collector has an inlet on the side that pulls in dirty air,
and two filter cartridges in the unit that clean the
air. Dust and other debris are knocked down by the
reverse-pulse action and fall to the bottom of the collection
into a collection drawer. RPC collectors are equipped with a
Magnehelic® differential pressure gauge to determine when
service is needed on the filters, control panel, and
foam-covered muffler to suppress sound.
RPH Collectors –
RPH collectors, with air ranging from 600-3600 cfm, are
best used for applications of multi-shift and high-volume
production. RPH collectors are also come with the
Magnehelic® differential pressure gauge, indicating
when service is needed on the filters. The unit
automatically pulses from the equipped timer in the control
panel. RPH collectors come in several models varying
between 2 to 8 filter cartridges, and between 1- 2
30-gallon collection drums. When unknown or hazardous
materials are blasted, users can minimize contact with dust
during disposal by lining the drums.
All types of reverse-pulse dust collectors from ZERO have
the option to add a HEPA filter, which is connected to the
exhauster outlet. HEPA filtration collects any
residual dust down to just 0.3 micron.
Always wear appropriate personal protection equipment when
operating machinery of any kind.
